01_foredeck_groove_s

Foredeck teak boards, as removed from the boat after 35 years of abuse and neglect

02_foredeck_renew_s

Same boards, as planed. Will need to do a little repair here and there but these will serve perfectly well as a 1/4" veneer.

03_clothespin_scarf_s

Laying out cut lines for the bowsprit scarf repair

04_hull_defects_s

Opening up cracks, splits and dents in the port side. There seem to be 10x as many on this side as the starboard, I'm guessing the boat was starboard tied for most of it's life.

06_even_more_defects_s

More defects! This kind of blew our painting schedule out of the water.

08_defects_filled_s

    Filled with epoxy putty

09_filled_faired_s

Filled and faired, ready for 2 coats of epoxy primer

09_neighbors_s

Oh, what our neighbors must think of us...

10_blackprep_s

Prep sanding the first black coat

11_blackpaint_s

    Final coat of black

12_fitting_s

Test fit of the companionway bulkhead and all related beams, sliders, rails, etc.

13_interior_s

She's starting to look cozy down below again!

14_green_s

First green coat, it only gets better from here!

15_reclaimed_s

Milling up some reclaimed old growth fir to start galley cabinet framing.
